Adjust your coverage amount (EN)

The coverage amount can be flexibly adjusted to meet your requirements – up to a maximum of €500,000¹. A default coverage of €5,000 is already included.

You can arrange the insurance either through the customer portal or at one of our branches. Please note that additional service fees may apply when arranging insurance in person at a branch. The increased coverage amount can be cancelled with one month's notice (except for cash payments). If paying by cash, the coverage amount can only be increased in person at a branch. In this case, the full amount must be paid in advance. Refunds are not possible, as the service is activated immediately upon receipt of payment.

To set up your insurance independently via the customer portal, please follow the steps below:

Please log in to the customer portal at app.trisor.de using your access credentials. Please use the email address stored in your contract.

Haven't set up the customer portal yet? Please contact our customer service team – we'll be happy to send you a new one-time password.

On the right-hand side you will find an overview of your contracts. Select the contract to which you would like to add insurance in order to view the contract details.

You will first see several options available to you. Among these options, you will find the "Insurance" button. Please click on it to proceed to the next step.

On the next page, you can enter your desired coverage amount in the "Additional coverage amount" input field.

Please note: If you have already booked an increased coverage amount and wish to adjust it, you will need to cancel the existing insurance first before being able to book a new one in the next step.

¹ A coverage amount of up to €500,000 is available in the Standard, Premium, Business Standard and Business Premium plans. In the Basic plan, a coverage amount of up to €30,000 is possible. The actual premium depends on the selected coverage amount and the respective plan.
